The latest in regional employment numbers
While many of us were on spring break in March, the Oregon Employment Department was hard at work, releasing its local data for the month of February.
The good news the department shared is Washington County's unemployment rate is the lowest its been since the 1990s at 3.3 percent.
Multnomah County is at the same rate too.
Economist call this full employment, or as close as we will probably get to it.
In the past 12 months, Washington County employers have added 3,800 jobs (1.4 percent), Multnomah County 4,300, and Clackamas County 2,700.
