Kaiser ceremony breaks ground for new facility
Local leaders held a ceremonial ground breaking today for Kaiser Permanente's future Beaverton Medical and Dental Office at the corner of Western and Beaverton Hillsdale Highway.
Kaiser currently operates a clinic at the site, but this new facility will bring state of the art patient care.
The 3-story, 90,000 square foot building will provide larger exam rooms with LED screens to view provider notes, the ability for families to teleconference, and examination chairs that measure a patient's weight - allowing for more privacy.
It is also targeted to be a LEED Gold status building.
The new facility is expected to be complete and ready for patients in the spring of 2019.
