Collette announces she will be leaving office


Carlotta Collette   Metro Councilor Carlotta Collette has announced she will be stepping down soon. 
   The councilor and her husband are planning to move to a new home in Corvallis.  
   Collette currently lives in Milwaukie and has been on the Metro Council for 10 years.  
   "I don't know when we'll be moving to Corvallis full-time. That will depend on the sale of our home. Once I do know, I will be formally notifying the council of my resignation. I want to thank Council President Hughes, former Council President Bragdon, and the 10 councilors I've served with for their support in my service to the people of District 2, and the region," said Collette in a message on Metro's website. 
   She was appointed to the Metro Council in November 2007, and elected in November 2008, November 2010, and May 2014.
