Sharpen those pencils, it's voting time
Ballots for the May 15 Primary Election are headed to mailboxes all over the Westside, and voters have plenty to choose from.
These include candidates for Governor, Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries, Metro, county, and city councils.
Tualatin voters will decide on a bond measure for transportation and safety improvements in their city, while Tigard voters will choose whether to support a levy to increase funding for services such as police, libraries, and parks.
The Beaverton School District is looking to renew its levy to help pay for teachers.
If you haven't received your ballot yet, Washington County is part of a pilot program to track your ballot - similar to tracking a package.
