Nardstar native 1600  If you've driven by the Nike World Headquarters (WHQ), it's hard not to see the progress of the company's expansion project.
The athletic company has recently announced the names of the four expansion buildings on its World Headquarters campus.
Two buildings are named in honor of champion Nike athletes Serena Williams (tennis) and Sebastian Coe (a middle-distance runner).
The Serena Williams Building will be the biggest structure at the World Headquarters with more than 1 million square feet, covering nearly three city blocks.
Designed to emphasize connectivity, the six-floor Sebastian Coe Building will add about 475,000 square feet to the WHQ.
There is also a new fitness center named after Duke University Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski, who has the most wins as a coach in NCAA men's basketball history - he has five NCAA Championships and five gold medals as the National Coach for USA Basketball.

At 47,000 square-feet, the new Krzyzewski fitness facility will house workout studios, exercise equipment, and locker rooms.
The building's third floor features a basketball court that pays homage to Coach K, his family, and Duke University.

The fourth building was christened earlier in 2017 and is a new parking garage, celebrating the sports heritage of New York City.
