Oregon welcomed more than 50,000 new residents in a year

 

UHaul   The Portland State University Population Research Center released it's 2018 preliminary population figures in November, and it shows Oregon's population increased by 54,200 people between 2017 and 2018.
  The increase is mainly new residents moving into the state.
  Washington County grew by 10,420 new residents or 1.7 percent, while

Multnomah gained 10,300 or 1.3 percent, and Clackamas County added 6,425 or 1.6 percent.
  This brings Washington County's population total to 606,280 people.
   Percentagewise the largest growth occurred in Central Oregon, where Deschutes County grew by 3.3 percent, and Crook County grew by 2.7 percent.
