Managing school staff and students in today’s demanding world is a challenge. How does one meet the demands of shaping the next generation of the workforce, while juggling the social variables that come with it?
Please join us as we talk with Beaverton School District Superintendent Don Grotting and Hillsboro School District Superintendent Mike Scott. They represent the two largest school districts on the Westside, (the third and fifth largest in the state). Together they serve more than 60,000 students. This program will be moderated by Sue Hildick, founder of the Chalkboard Project.
The two superintendents are expected to cover a variety of topics, including: career technical education (CTE), STEAM (science technology, engineering, arts, and math), education funding, bond projects, graduation rates, setting boundaries, transportation, growth, and more.
This Breakfast Forum will be at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Oswego (please note the different location than most forums) on Thursday, November 29.
To Register, please call the WEA office at 503-968-3100.
