Mission Statement

Westside Economic Alliance is a member-based, nonprofit association that advocates for a healthy economic climate on the Westside of the Portland metropolitan region.  The Alliance plays a leading role in the development of this high-growth region by providing a business perspective in public forums and facilitating the cooperation between the private and public sectors.  The result is a unique partnership that benefits both the businesses and communities of our region.

Its mission is to:

• Create an environment conducive to business growth;
  
  
• Serve as a unified voice for members on public policy issues affecting the Westside of the Portland metro region;
   
• Promote and improve the visibility of the Westside as a premier economic development locale for businesses to locate, expand and thrive;
  
  
• And challenge and influence policy decisions and regulations impacting the economic vitality of our communities.
