The 124th Avenue Extension is open for business
It's like a transportation gift to the Westside - the barricades have been removed on the Tonquin Road and 124th Avenue Extension project and traffic has begun to flow.
The $30 million project between Tualatin and Wilsonville included construction of 4.4 miles of new/improved roadway.
This includes the new Basalt Creek Parkway, connecting Tonquin Road and SW 124th Avenue to Grahams Ferry Road.
The Willamette Water Supply Program also piggybacked on the road project by installing part of its new 30-mile water pipeline.
With these new road connections, it will also provide access to employment land for future development.
