Holland Partner Group breaks ground on SoHi apartments

Aerial Image of New Roads in SoHi   After years of planning, the South Hillsboro area is starting to take shape as Holland Partner Group broke ground on South Hillsboro's first apartment community recently.

This could also be a step towards home ownership for some future residents.
The new apartment community will be home to 324 apartments in 14 garden style residential buildings.
Holland Partner Group is seeking National Green Building Standard's gold-level certification for this community to make it even more environmentally friendly, energy efficient, and healthy.
When it comes to finances, there will be two special programs available to residents at Reed's Crossing called Holland Offers More Equity (HOME) and the Builder Lease program.
The HOME Program will allow residents who live in a Holland rental community to accrue a portion of their paid rent as a credit to be applied toward the purchase of a new home from select builders within the Reed's Crossing master planned community.
With the Builder Lease program, Holland Partner Group is working with Newland to help Reed's Crossing home buyers by giving them the flexibility to rent at the apartment community until their home is built without paying a short-term rent premium.
"Holland Partner Group is excited about the impact the Reed's Crossing Community will have on South Hillsboro and the city's housing shortage," said Brenner Daniels, Holland's managing director in the Oregon and SW Washington regions. "We're dedicated to providing diverse housing options that are sustainably built and provide access to open space and community amenities. Future residents will experience a truly dynamic environment where they can live, work, and play within the master-planned community."
