Cornelius opens the doors of opportunities with a new library 


Cornelius Mayor Jef Dalin   Congratulations to the City of Cornelius on the opening of its new library. 
   About 400 community members celebrated the grand opening of 'Cornelius Place,' recently. 
   The ribbon was cut on the new 14,000 square foot library and learning center.    
   This project also includes 45 units of senior affordable housing on the second and third floors, developed through an unique public and nonprofit organization partnership model.

   Cornelius has also just been named a finalists in the National Civic League's All-America City Award.
