Nike is about to run with a new CEO


John Donahoe 2   In January, John Donahoe will become Nike's new president and chief executive officer.
   Donahoe has been on Nike's Board of Directors for the last five years.
   His past positions include: president and CEO of ServiceNow; chairman of PayPal Holdings, Inc.; president and CEO of eBay, Inc.; and CEO and world wide managing director of Bain & Co.
   He graduated with his undergrad in economics from Dartmouth College and has an MBA from Stanford University.
   "It is an honor to become President and CEO of this amazing, innovative company, and to join the more than 76,000 talented and passionate employees dedicated to serving athletes," said Donahoe.
   Current Nike CEO Mark Parker will still be involved with the company as the executive chairman of Nike's Board of Directors.
   The company said Parker will work closely with Donahoe and the senior management team.
