Meet Westside Economic Alliance’s staff
Elizabeth Mazzara Myers
Executive Director
As Executive Director of Westside Economic Alliance, Elizabeth leads WEA in its strategic direction, membership, programming, and advocacy work. She is the organization’s primary spokesperson.
Elizabeth has more than 15 years of policy and political experience in Oregon, including her role as Chief of Staff to elected officials in both Multnomah and Washington counties. She attended Washington State University for her Master’s and doctoral studies and Oregon State University and Gonzaga University for her undergraduate work.
Elizabeth currently serves on the Statewide Tolling Rulemaking Advisory Committee, Intel’s Community Advisory Panel, Metro’s Freight and Commodities Study Stakeholder Advisory Committee, and the City of Portland’s Government Transition Committee. She is a former board member of the Raphael House of Portland and Pro-Choice Oregon.
In her spare time Elizabeth loves to travel and to cook and spends time in her garden or on walks with her husband and their two adorable dogs.
Danielle “Dani” Siver
Director of Membership and Events
Dani focuses on membership services and growth by providing excellent experiences at events and through key programming. She has a history of successful membership development and event production in the charitable and trade association sectors, most recently with the Home Builders Association of Greater Portland. She is actively involved in the community where she co-founded Beaverton’s first charter school, Arco iris Spanish Immersion School and is the volunteer-volunteer coordinator for the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival. She is also active with the California Society of Association Executives. Dani attended the University of Florida and is a native of South Florida. She and her two sons love cooking and have perpetual wanderlust with an expansive travel bucket list.
Teddy is in charge of the scheduling, planning, and administration of WEA policy committees on transportation, land us and housing, and government affairs. He also assists the office with planning board of directors’ meetings, forums, and events, as well as website management and other projects as needed. Teddy previously worked as an intern in Senator Jeff Merkley’s office. Prior to that, he worked as an Analyst in the logistics industry and as an Account Manager at a business contracting services firm. Teddy earned both his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Portland. He loves Oregon for the food, the scenery, and the people. He also is a big fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Dungeons and Dragons.
