On June 12, we continue the tradition of meeting with the Westside Mayors!

At this year’s Mayors Forum, WEA is updating our programming with a reception being hosted before and after the presentation to give attendees a greater opportunity to meet, greet and network with the Mayors and one another. The new interview format will allow for greater focus on some of the key issues facing the region including Economic Development, Land Capacity, Housing Production and Affordability and more.

Not only are we seeing the direct affects of the housing and homeless crisis throughout our cities – but we are also seeing unprecedented challenges to any effort to increase land supply. Since we last met we saw one of our Mayors and the majority of her council recalled while another city is fighting external organizations who are challenging their state mandated growth process via a ballot measure.

We have extended the format this year to provide a full 90 minutes of programming content so we have a real chance to dig deep with the Mayors.
