John Southgate 2Interim Executive Director

John Southgate has decades of experience in project management,
planning and development in the Portland region, the State of Oregon, and
nationally; with a focus on public-private partnerships and urban infill at
both the district and individual parcel level.


John has worked with cities, private developers, business advocacy
organizations, educational institutions and others, building a deep and
extensive network of relationships with elected officials, funding entities
and the development community. He has managed a number of successful
projects and policy initiatives which help to define the Portland region’s
reputation as a national leader in urban redevelopment. John’s efforts are
strongly aligned with the region’s growth objectives and individual cities’
aspirations related to higher density mixed use centers characterized by
pedestrian vitality and transit supportiveness.

Teresa Dunham

Marketing and Communications Manager

Teresa Dunham is the marketing and communications manager for Westside Economic Alliance.  She joined the organization in June of 2007.  Her duties with WEA include writing the weekly newsletter; coordinating events; managing the organization’s social media channels; handling WEA’s website; participating in WEA committees; and designing, writing and editing other publications to promote the organization and its work.  Teresa's background is in journalism and public affairs.  She is a graduate of the University of Oregon and an avid Ducks fan.

Office & Membership Manager

KC Reinhart is the office and membership manager for Westside Economic Alliance.  She joined WEA in June of 2017 and is responsible for the organization’s accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financials.  She also manages membership dues; registers event guests; and participates in WEA committee activities.  KC began her career as a paralegal for an estate, corporate, and tax law firm, then adding administrative, human resources, and accounting duties there and at other legal and financial firms during her career.  She attended Portland State University.
